When we talk of a good user experience, it includes the key factors landing page experience and Page Rank.  Landing Page experience is how customer views your page when he comes on it. It plays a crucial part in your ranking. Another part is the Page Speed. Customers do not want to wait for the page to load. They want everything quickly. Good user experience is important to make them spend more time at your website. When customer comes he should be able to gain some information on the website else, this is what inbound marketing strategy say and this is same as what Google say’s as well.

We have been discussing in our previous chapters as to how to target the right customer, using buyer persona and buyer image to decide your ideal customers, using right keywords for SEO strategy and having unique, informative and interactive content. But one thing we did not discuss in detail was why is good user experience important for SEO strategy.

Better Conversion Rate

The first thing which we always need to keep in our mind is better user experience means more conversions. In our first part of inbound marketing strategy we were discussing that we want customers to come to us and not vice versa. This is why we do all the things mentioned above. The better the user experience the higher the chances of conversion. Let’s understand this with the help of example. Suppose, I am an e-commerce company and sell shoes. Why would someone buy that someone buy that shoe from you and not from another Website? In order to make sure you drive conversions you would have to provide him with a good user page experience. Your page selling should be available to him in search engine when he searches for shoes and not ice creams. It is a simple rule target your buyer persona and buyer journey.

Google considers user page experience while ranking it. Hence, it becomes an important part of SEO strategy. The higher you rank, better is the visibility and more are the chances person would come to your website.

Repeat Purchases

An important part of your SEO strategy is to make sure customers come back again and again. This way you are able to generate more sales. Repeat purchases act as word of mouth for the company. They might tell this to their circle about your brand and it further increases your customer. Plus, a repeat customer is the most valued thing in the industry. They help you in so many ways. They help you understand buyer persona, which SEO strategy worked well, helps in driving sales, helps in getting more buyers and during the need of hour these are the people you can get in touch with to know feedback and how can you improve upon things.

Driving more traffic

We have discussed about how user interface helps in Google Page Ranking and Repeat Purchases. A consequence of this is it helps drive more traffic. We would be ranking higher in Google plus there would be new customers because of referrals. Hence, it helps drive more traffic.

Knowing this we can clearly say our off page SEO and on page SEO strategy have to go in hand to ultimately lead to inbound marketing strategy success. Success of only off page or on page strategy is not going to take us anywhere. It has to be cumulative effect of both that has to be there for driving more business and traffic.
