List of Social Media Tools

1. Kissmetrics

Kissmetrics is an analytics told that can help you track your ROI for social media platform. It has various versions available based on the plan and requirements of your business.

The good thing is it helps businesses track the people who visited the page 1st time, multiple times, clicked link to go to website, clicked on CTA button or took any other action like sharing post, retweeting or liking it. You can actually interact directly with the audience, with the help of Kissmetrics. You can post comment, share post,  schedule post etc.  also, you can have a look at the audience which engaged with your content. Good know the demographics, location, interests etc.  you can also measure how well your ads are doing and can help you know are you Barbie getting the right customers through ads or not. It helps to calculate ROI

2.  SEM Rush

I have been a big SEM rush fan, all throughout the time I have stepped into digital marketing. Till now, I had only be talking about SEM rush for SEO, but it also offers social media analysis. We can measure the same thing we do from Kissmetrics using SEM rush. We can measure post likes, retweets, shares, people who visited your website, new visitors, link clicks, changes over days. We can also measure demographics, interests etc. the good thing is I find its interface and price better than the other tools

3.  Hootsuite

Another tool which you can use, is Hootsuite.  It also offers you the same thing, but with a 30 day trial which you can use to check out if it suits your need. You can do multiple post sharing on your social media accounts at the same time. You can also do a deep and a thorough analysis and can prepare reports over it. You can calculate ROI for your social media account and check out how active you have been on social media. And there are four versions of this available on the website you can have a look before choosing it.

4. SEO Powersuite

I was introduced to this to win by one of my clients. Not only it has applications for SEO, Link building but it also has an application for social media management. We can just connect to social media accounts and and use it to share information across our audiences at the same time. We can also use it for various Report generation purpose and make sure that the data is converted into information. This tool is actually good for someone who owns a business or has a digital marketing company. It is pretty fast, allows you to share user information with the users.

5. Google Analytics

If you do not have the money or the willpower, to go for such analytics tools you can always turn to your words your trusted analytics partner Google. You can actually checked the number of visitors who came from social media sites. Along with that use social media analytics tool to get the maximum information out of it. However, it can get quite tedious to look at so many accounts and your website at the same time. Since it is only an analytics tool and not a tool which can help you in posting or increasing likes, you will have to analyse all by yourself. However, if you don’t have the money this is the best manual method of analytics.

All the tools mentioned above except Google analytics have most of the basic functions which is required by a professional or someone managing his business. It depends upon you as to what you choose this on what you find user friendly. Also price could be a factor. But, before making a decision do check out their trial period and find out the one which suits you the most.
